The 24-year-old Columbia is already past the age to retire, where the majority of the best gymnasts in the competition.

”I want someone who has done something, not as someone who does not forget who said she realized” she said.

”I’d be happy to represent Team GB, but the decision will probably be marketed in 2012. If my results are starting to fall, then perhaps it is time to bow out.

Tweddle won her second world title by claiming gold in the floor exercise at the O2 Arena in London on the weekend, after winning the uneven bars in Denmark in 2006.

She hopes to return to the same place within three years, to appear in front of their fans during the Games 2012th

She added: “Gymnastics is changing, it used about 15 - and 16-year-olds, but the barrier of age is moving now. (Oksana) Chusovitina, who represented Germany at the Olympics last year, 32 and won a silver at the Olympics, it is possible.

”But three years is a long absence, we need a step at a time and see if I’m here.”

Tweddle floor routine was a notch above those of its competitors, but the City of Liverpool gymnast told reporters they can always improve.

”When I was my first world title was won in my signature piece, the uneven bars, she said.

”Only in recent years have begun to enter the ranks at the bottom.

”I can still things that go into my routine on the floor, but in bars to get my start value is quite difficult with the new requirement of eight players.

”I will go home and think seriously about what I can do while on the floor, I have some things I can take in your pocket.”

Tweddle spoke of his pride in being able to his feet from a disappointing qualifying session in which they have fallen into the bar to miss an opportunity to win this title again.
“Many people after qualifying, I thought it would not be able to pull myself up again after the disappointment on the bars,” she said.

”It is probably a better idea to have won the title of this World Cup when she was winning the title bars.”

She added: “The public has been fantastic. When I was a noise outside, and I thought: “I must prove I am one of the best. ”

While his Olympic future remains undecided, Tweddle will be in action at the European Championships which take place on British soil.

The euro will start next April and May in Birmingham, which hosts the world championships in 1993.

Tweddle will be another challenge for medals at the world championships next year, held in the Dutch city of Rotterdam in October.
