Greenpeace: deciding consumers about fish stocks.

Hamburg (dpa / lno) – The purchasing power of consumers is to protect endangered fish stocks: Greenpeace calls on retailers and customers to consider when buying a product type, fishing area and fishing method. The popular Christmas carp and trout can be eaten safely, Greenpeace expert Iris Menn said at the launch of the new shopping guide for eating fish in Hamburg on Tuesday. Cod, herring and salmon, gaia gold, recommends the marine biologist, however limited. Eel and redfish on the other hand did not belong on the plate.
